Synopsis:
As the end of the world draws near, former business executive, Paul, keeps himself distracted by mowing lawns. When his estranged wife, Felicity, unexpectedly walks back into his life, Paul is confronted with events from the past that he'd rather forget. As his friend, Stan, and his former pastor, Dave, chip in with advice, Paul's emotions bubble to the surface. Will he have the courage to face his demons and forgive the sins of the past, or will he give up and checkout?
A relationship drama set against the backdrop of the end of the world, Thorns & Thistles stars Jeremy Levi as Paul, Vivienne Marshall as his estranged wife, Felicity, Jesse Hislop as Paul's friend, Stan, and Matt Barron as Pastor Dave. Featuring a number of other local talent, the film was entirely shot in Perth's suburbs and was directed by local West Australian, Aaron Kamp.
