A presentation of recently completed interiors and furniture by Norman Kelley.
Norman Kelley was founded in 2012 by Thomas Kelley and Carrie Norman. The architecture practice is based in Chicago and Cambridge and works in the fields of residential architecture, commercial interiors, furniture design, exhibition design, and design criticism. Previous clients include Aesop, the Noguchi Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Graham Foundation, Notre, and the artist Brendan Fernandes. Norman Kelley's work has been published in The New York Times, Log, The Avery Review, The Architect's Newspaper, Cultured, Domus, Dezeen, Frame, and Wallpaper*. Norman Kelley has exhibited work at the Venice Architecture Biennial (2014, 2021), the Chicago Architecture Biennial (2015, 2017), the Lisbon Architecture Triennale (2019), and presented furniture with Friedman Benda and Volume Gallery. In addition, the practice received a United States Artists Fellowship in Architecture (2018). Thomas Kelley is currently an associate professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Carrie Norman is an assistant professor at MIT.
