About this Event
On Wednesday, March 11th, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., DC Alphas will host a town hall and forum at Kramer Middle School from 6-8pm ET.
This is your opportunity to engage directly with candidates in a community-centered conversation about the priorities, challenges, and opportunities shaping life in Wards 7 and 8, and across the District. Join us to share your ideas and demands for the direction of the city.
The DC Alphas aim to ensure every eligible voter has access to clear, practical information about what’s on the ballot and why it matters. This forum is designed to break down complex issues, make policies tangible, and connect residents with candidates, issue experts, and civic resources in one accessible space. The future of Washington, DC belongs to the people.
All candidates for D.C. mayor have been invited to participate.
The event is free and open to the public and will provide a welcoming, family-friendly environment where children are encouraged to attend and witness civic engagement in action.
Doors Open: 5:30 PM. Refreshments will be provided.
