Uniting for Change: A Community Conversation on Gun Violence
In honor of Women's History Month, the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated - Lambda Epsilon Omega Chapter, in collaboration with the NCNW DeKalb Section, Junior League of DeKalb, and the National Coalition 100 Black Women - Decatur/DeKalb, are coming together for a historic joint Town Hall event addressing one of the most urgent crises facing our community: gun violence.
Like many communities across the nation, DeKalb County is at a critical crossroads. Senseless gun violence continues to harm our children, the elderly, and innocent bystanders, invading our schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, and homes. It’s time for action.
