Help Save the Platform Tavern from being repossessed by the bank!
Many of you will remember that in October 2023, disaster struck when a devastating fire forced the Platform to close for three long months. Thanks to your incredible generosity back then, they were able to rebuild and reopen – but the closure left them with a huge backlog of mortgage payments. Despite fighting hard to keep going, the pressure has now reached breaking point, and without urgent help, they face the heartbreaking prospect of the bank repossessing the pub.
Independent venues and pubs are disappearing at an alarming rate (around six pubs close every week). We can’t let the Platform, one of Southampton’s most loved and unique venues, be next. Join us for these special fundraiser gigs and help keep live music alive.
