Join us for a talk by our 2025 CAIN National juror - Alejandro Macias. Originally from Brownsville, TX, Macias has received numerous awards and recognitions, including prestigious residencies at Vermont Studio Center, The Studios at MASS MoCA, and Uncool Artist in Brooklyn, NY (2024). He was recently honored with the Lehmann Emerging Artist award and has held solo exhibitions at venues such as the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts, Presa House Gallery, Tucson Museum of Art, and Latch-Key Gallery in New York, NY. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Painting and Drawing at the University of Arizona School of Art in Tucson, AZ.The talk is free to the public.
