About this Event

This & Yap: All things Fund-a-Thon!

Stop by the Garden District Taproom as our local abortion fund, Emergency Medical Assistance, kicks off the 2025 Fund-a-Thon season! Fund-a-Thon season runs from March through May and is open to all who are interested in fundraising for abortion funds throughout the nation. This & Yap: All things Fund-a-Thon is a relaxed drop in style event where you can learn how to get involved this year!

We look forward to yap all about abortion and fundraising over art, love letters to abortion providers, and abortion centered conversation. We’ll also have our mutual aid resource table providing sexual health items and info.

Of course if interested, members of EMA’s Fund-a-Thon team will be ready to assist in getting you started on your fundraising journey. We’ll be facilitating sign-ups for your own unique fundraising teams/ideas and sign-ups to attend and participate in our upcoming fundraising events.
