Set one year after the events of Shakespeare’s classic comedy Twelfth Night, this original sequel imagines what happens when Malvolio makes good on his threat to “be revenged on the whole pack of them”.
Sir Toby Belch is getting sober with Maria’s help, Orsino is struggling with the fact that he might have preferred Viola when she was a boy and Olivia is finding out that getting married at first sight to Sebastian just because he looks exactly like Cesario might not be working out as easily as she’d hoped. But what will happen when Malvolio returns to make good on his threat and take his revenge?
Part comedy, part revenger’s tragedy, and written in authentic Shakespearean verse, this production will draw on British Touring Shakespeare’s 25 years of experience delighting audiences around the world.
