About this Event
Concord Center is buzzing with excitement with the kick off of the Third Thursdays event series. This Massachusetts neighborhood welcomes you for art, culture, shopping, and dining from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, featuring over 30 local businesses staying open late with special offerings.
Just 20 miles west of Boston, Concord Center blends small-town charm with vibrant local culture—where historic architecture, independent shops, and inviting eateries come alive during this monthly celebration of community, creativity, and commerce. Easily reached by commuter rail or highway, it’s the perfect place to stroll, shop, and savor the spirit of Concord. From antiques and fine art to toys, clothing, jewelry, artisan foods, and wine, discover something special on every block.
The July 17th event includes live music and interactive activities for all ages. The Lori Z Jazz Trio brings Lori’s smoky, sultry jazz, rock, blues and R&B styles to the lawn of the Visitors center — just right for a summer evening! Stop by to make block prints with the team from Art for All and bring home a Concord themed artwork made by you!
Other happenings include a bourbon tasting at Main Streets Market, a performance by The Concord Minute Men Fife & Drum Corps at Louisa May Alcott’s House, and an outdoor play by the Firelight Theatre Workshop at the Concord Museum.
Visitors can expect extended business hours at shops, galleries, and eateries, alongside sidewalk games, chalk art, and hands-on arts activities. Participating businesses will also offer unique in-store experiences, making Third Thursday a highlight of the summer calendar in Concord.
Third Thursdays in Concord Center is executed by the Town of Concord in partnership with the Concord Chamber of Commerce. Programming is supported by the Concord Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council as part of the Concord Center Cultural District program, celebrating local arts and community spirit.
