Wichita Women Artists is a group of approximately 40 talented, award winning artists from Wichita and the surrounding area who work in a variety of mediums. Most members work in oil, watercolor, acrylics and pastel, but a few create three dimensionally as well. The club was founded in 1950 to encourage its members creative abilities through monthly meetings and to share those talents in exhibits throughout the Wichita area. Our members represent a varied amount of education in the art world. Many are retired art teachers and yet some are self taught. This year WWA celebrated its 75th anniversary. Come help us celebrate in Midtown Gallery at The Clayworks in Hutchinson.
