About this Event
Under the Umbrella Bookstore is located in the Rio Grande neighborhood. Because this area has a large unsheltered population, we host a monthly supply drive on the third Saturday to gather survival items.

- Gatorade
- Electrolyte mixes
- Cooling bandanas and instant ice packs
- Snacks
- Hand Fans
- Sunscreen
- Sunshades, sun hats, and baseball hats
- Baby wipes/shower wipes
Most Needed Items: Winter
- Blankets & sleeping bags
- Tarps & tents
- Hand warmers
- Hand sanitizer
- Hats, gloves, and scarves
- Snacks
We are not currently accepting any clothing items besides new socks.
Bring donations by noon - 5pm and leave them outside of our front doors under the Donation Drive flyers. Neighbors pick up the items they need, and any items left over are donated to The Coconut Hut, a local organization equiped to distribute these items to the community.
