About this Event
The purpose of this 5K is to raise money to help local veterans with unaffordable home repairs and to help house local homeless veterans. Our mission is to keep veterans safe and comfortable in their homes. If a veteran doesn't have a home, we can use this 5K money to pay expenses that are a barrier to the veteran being housed, such as unaffordable rental deposits. Last year we housed two local veteran families by paying initial expenses to rental housing. Both families are thriving today!
We owe our Veterans more than we can ever repay, but we can help them when they need a hand. Thank you for wanting to be a part of Creative Compassion’s mission!
The race will take walkers and runners to the beautiful Obed River Park and back to the complex.
