Yes, Virginia, there is somewhere to go on Christmas Night! You are invited to the third annual Misfits' Christmas Ball, a free swing dance at 8 p.m. on December 25. The guests of honor will be Christmas Misfits, those of us who usually celebrate (or ignore) the holiday alone. Folks who've had enough Christmas for the day or don't observe it are equally welcome. If you don't dance, come watch and chat. You may even be able to give away Aunt Marjorie's fruitcake.If you would like to take a shift as DJ, message Evvie!
This dance is free because of the generosity of the Lowdown Ballroom. If you haven't been to the venue before, it's in the basement of a house across from Lowell Elementary. Look for the house with the gate and the small sign.
