Hey Yall! It's back, the wild rice soup cookoff! We extend an invitation to folks to come in a good way and share time and space in this community gathering.
For years the Urban NDN Community of Detroit and Metro have been on of the strongest support systems in this work in so many ways. We invite you to be a part of the fun.
We will host community cookoff fun styled gathering with raffles/ door prizes and Friendly Competition haha! There will be cash prizes for the 1st-3rd place winners of the cook-off with gifts for all entries.
This will be 14 years since the Fukushima meltdown in Japan on March 11th 2011. It caused catastrophic affects to land, air, water and the beings that co-exist alongside them. We still see the challenges that are faced at that site with safety, health and cleanup.
It is important to honor life here in the Great Lakes and do what we can to prevent similar things from happening here.
Contact me for Soup Entries. Info on the flyer and I am on messenger.
