Calling all women and girls, please join us and learn about the Jewish tradition and ritual of Challah baking. Share stories, connect with friends, participate in hands-on challah dough preparation and braiding, and learn with a special presentation from Kenden Alfond of @JewishFoodHero and Rabbanit Debbie Zimmerman. Once again Graeme and Caitlin Miller of Ben Reuben's Knishery fame will be leading us through the process of making the perfect loaf of challah.Please register before November 10th to secure your spot! Proceeds will play a key role in building vibrant community events that, AS ONE, bring us closer together. The Great Big Maine Challah Bake is hosted by Rimon - The Portland Jewish Women's Group as they seek to connect mothers, daughters, and women with the traditional art of Challah making.
