About this Event
This Bill of Rights Celebration is unique. We invite local elected officials and Constitutional Scholars to read one of the original amendments and tell a story related to it. Each year it has been different, based on the readers and their stories. Everybody learns something and everybody has fun, it truly is amazing.
The event has been offered in Apache Junction for the past 2 years with notable presenters such as Shane Krauser, Judge Daniel Washburn, and Alan Korwin.
This year we kicked it up a notch, we’ve invited Apache Junction Students, 7-10th grades to participate in a BOR essay contest. The winners and other students will be present and we are gearing up for this to be a real family celebration for our country and for our youth.
Join us for great food, fun, and a little competition with prizes. If you are an AJUSD student in grades 7 - 10 and would like to submit an essay for the contest, contact the event organizer.
Food Options: Pulled Pork, Chicken Breast, Sirloin Burger
