Earn, Save, Spend, Budget! Kids Can Learn about Personal FinanceThinking Money for Kids is a program created by the American Library Association (ALA) in collaboration with the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. Its goal is to educate children about essential financial concepts such as saving, spending, sharing, and budgeting in a fun and impactful manner. Stillwater Public Library is among the 200 public libraries that received a kit through this grant.
Each week, kids will play a different game such as creating a farm, participating in a puppet show, learning about pet adoption, and planning parties, all while covering personal finance topics like saving and budgeting.
