About this Event
This beginner friendly workshop is designed for artists who are curious about exploring 3D. Whether you’re an illustrator, photographer, designer, or even a musician, learning 3D can open up new ways of thinking about form, space, and composition, perhaps unlocking an new interest and professional possibilities~
We will go through the fundamentals together in a relaxed, hands-on way, with a strong focus on experimentation and play. You’ll learn how to navigate 3D space, create simple shapes and forms, work with basic materials and lighting, and understand what makes a render look and feel realistic. (This workshop will focus on realism as a foundational starting point. Maybe in a future workshop, we will dive into more stylized workflows, and animation!)
Workshops are recommended for people ages 12 and over. Children under 12 years old are welcome with parent/guardian supervision. Please get a ticket for each person (incl. all children).
The workshop is pay what you can! Suggested $20 - $30 to support facilitator fees and supplies.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Lune is an artist who is passionate about “democratizing” access to digital art education. They believe that art, and the tools to create should be welcoming and accessible to everyone, regardless of background or experience level. As a self-taught artist who learned through exploration and experimentation, Lune understands how intimidating 3D can feel at first, and she’s dedicated to making the learning process feel friendly and creative.
Their work primarily focuses on low-poly stylized 3D, with playful animations that bring simple ideas to life. With these workshops, they hope to help artists feel more confident using 3D as another medium in their creative journey.
