We’ve got violas, vintage guitars, very bad ice, and a luthier who cannot stop bumping into rock stars. From tattoo parlors to orchestra pits, this is a cinematic mix tape of the passionate, the peculiar, and the persistently unsung. Bring tissues, earplugs, and maybe a notebook — this screening might get a bit loud but we will have lots of filmmakers and subjects in attendance for a post screening Q and A, and there will be an exam afterwards.My Back Pages - dir. Along the way, we learn from a variety of interesting personalities like Frank Turner, Henk Schiffmacher and Angeliska Polacheck about the superstitious nature of the number 13 and it's place within tattoo culture, gang culture and astrology.
