About this Event

Airson Seachdain na Gàidhlig, bidh cothrom agad feuchainn air a’ chlàrsaich anns a’ bhùth-obrach seo! Bidh sinn aig Comann na Clàrsaich (Meur Ghlaschu) a’ ruith bùithtean-obrach airson luchd-tòiseachaidh inbheach anns An Lòchran ann an Glaschu, le Buannaiche Bonn Òr an t-Seann Nòis Màiri Callan.

Tha fàilte bhlàth air a h-uile duine. Chan eil feum agad air eòlas sam bith, agus chan eil feum agad air clàrsach idir – bidh gu leòr againn air an oidhche!

Bidh bùth-obrach ann airson luchd na Beurla le ùidh anns a’ Ghàidhlig agus a’ chlàrsaich, agus bùth-obrach tro mheadhan na Gàidhlig airson luchd na Gàidhlig (fileanta) aig a bheil ùidh sa chlàrsaich.

Nach tig thu còmhla rinn airson bùth-obrach spòrsail gus blas na clàrsaich fhaighinn?

Gheibh thu tiocaid saor an-asgaidh tron link anns a’ bhio againn, agus chì sinn ann thu!

Tòisichidh a’ chiad bhùth-obrach sa Bheurla aig 6f, 25mh an Giblean.

Tòisichidh an dàrna bùth-obrach sa Ghàidhlig aig 7.15f, 25mh an Giblean.

Come and Try the Harp!

For this year’s World Gaelic Week, you’ll have the opportunity to try the harp in this fantastic workshop!

We at the Clàrsach Society (Glasgow Branch) are running workshops for adult beginners at An Lòchran in Glasgow’s West End, with Mòd Gold Medal winner Màiri Callan as our tutor.

A warm welcome to anyone with an interest in the harp and in Gaelic. You don’t need any prior experience with either the harp or Gaelic, and you don’t even need a harp – we’ll have plenty on the night!

The first workshop is for English speakers with an interest in the harp and in Gaelic, while the second workshop is entirely in Gaelic for Gaelic speakers with an interest in the harp.

Why not come along to a fun workshop and get a taste for the harp?

You can register for a limited spot through the link in our bio – we can’t wait to see you!

The first workshop in English starts at 6pm on the 25th of February.

The second workshop in Gaelic starts at 7.15pm on the 25th of February.
