About this event:Join us every Friday at 8:30 AM on the First Street side of the Lufkin Mall to paint the United Way campaign thermometer and celebrate our weekly progress toward the pledge goal. It’s quick, fun, and a great way to show community spirit before the workday!
Who can come:
Everyone—individuals, families, workplaces, service clubs, and student groups. Bring your coworkers and make it a team outing!
What to expect (20–30 minutes):
• Quick welcome + progress update
• Brush in some fresh percentage points 🎨
• Group photo (tag yourself later!)
• High-fives and head to work 💙
What to bring:
Just your smile. We’ll provide paint and supplies. Company shirts and signs are encouraged!
Where to meet:
First Street side of the Lufkin Mall (look for the United Way thermometer).
Why it matters:
Each brushstroke represents pledges that fund local agencies providing food, clothing, shelter, education, senior meals, and emergency assistance in Angelina County.
Accessibility & weather:
Outdoor, standing event on pavement. We’ll paint rain or shine (light weather); severe weather updates will be posted the morning of.
