Parents and caregivers play an active role in the formation of the attitudes and beliefs of children, including how they understand sexuality, and how they feel about themselves and others. Children look to the adults in their world for guidance and support, including when it comes to topics surrounding gender and sexuality. Planned Parenthood’s Rainbow Room believes parents are the primary educators of their children around sexuality. But it can be difficult and uncomfortable to navigate these topics and conversations!
At this free workshop, the staff of the Rainbow Room, in partnership with PFLAG Bucks County and Salem Church, will lead this interactive workshop to help parents and caregivers learn content, knowledge and communication skills to ensure their children are supported and empowered with accurate and empowering information.
