Hats Funny Comedy returns to the wonderful venue that is The Recruiting Sergeant, Great Gonerby, following on from its sell out show in March. Headlining the show is the hilarious Sean Percival. Sean appears regularly at all the top comedy clubs in the UK. He has ‘headlined’ the Glee Clubs, the Comedy Stores, the Komedias, the Stands, the Last Laugh, Funhouse and the JTTComedy Lofts.
He has performed in comedy tents at the Glastonbury, Reading, Download and Bearded Theory festivals amongst others.
Sean was part of the comedy zone at the Edinburgh festival. He’s a regular at the TUI sensation resorts comedy cellars and he’s also entertained the troops at numerous Army, Navy and Air Force bases all over the world. He’s recently started to perform his one man show ‘Made in Dudley’ at various venues in the UK.
Opening the show is Jon Pearson. Jon began stand up comedy in 2010, with his first performance at Birmingham’s Highlight Comedy Club. Cut to nine years later and Jon has become a regular face on the circuit, performing at prestigious clubs such as The Glee, The Boat Show, Up The Creek, Last Laugh, Laughterhouse. Jon’s career has even taken him overseas with performances in Spain, Norway and even as far away as Wigan (it is like being on another planet).
Jon is also a familiar face on at comedy festivals across the UK having taken three solo shows to the Leicester, Nottingham & Edinburgh festivals with the highlight of the all coming in the form of a sold out show at his home town Melton Theatre in Melton Mowbray.
Jon has also provided tour support for Darren Harriot on his UK 2018/2019 tour and Lucy Porter on her UK 2017 tour
Jon’s laid back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word. With tales based around his own life experiences, his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics.
Supporting the show is Katie Brown, a likeable and relatable story teller, and Ian Whitcombe, who mixes snappy jokes and musical quips.
Your MC for the evening, is the cheeky and likeable Ian Hayes.
