There and Back Again: The Art of Medicine. In Pursuit of Holistic Care
This is more than just a great CME Conference: it's an Experience. Come join us for an enlightening CME event focused on a holistic approach to healthcare at the Trumbull Marriott Shelton. Learn from experts in the field on over 20 topics divided into inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and holistic tracks. As part of the theme of the art of medicine, we will be hosting the Yale Medical Symphony Orchestra for a live performance. We have also partnered with the "Artistic Nurse" Payal Emery, a local artist and Nurse Practitioner to display her works of art and learn more about the healing nature of art. Our featured main show presentations will be featuring Maria Asis, a physician and culinary medicine expert who will be doing a live cooking experience. Finally, Allen Hsiao a pediatric EM physician and Chief Health Information Officer for YNHH will discuss the "art" in integrating Artificial Intelligence into practice and how AI technology can be used to free clinicians of administrative burden and get back to patient care.
We have also leveled up with our prizes featuring the latest generation Apple Watch, Air Pod 4, Nespresso machine, and many more!
We will have several workshops hosted by local experts happening throughout the day including Narrative Medicine, Emergency Arrythmias, and Continous Glucose Monitoring.
We have also partnered with local POCUS genius and CRNA Calin Calabrese and his team to host a full day POCUS workshop.
