Hello friends and colleagues!Interested in participating in a companion Paws therapy dog evaluation?
It consists of evaluating the dog's reactions in several different situations involving a crowd of people, including a child, ideally between the age of 6 and 12, as well as other well-behaved dog (s).
While it is a different company than the Canadian kennel club, many of the elements of the test are extremely similar to a CGN test. It would probably take approximately 20 minutes to conduct the entire test from start to finish.
If you, or your family members would like to attend and help a dog and handler team become a therapy dog team, please comment below and let me know if you're able to attend so that I can plan for how many people are expected.
