About this Event
Is this you?
- You drain yourself in an attempt to help others
- You pour your heart out to hold spaces for others
- You often feel your cup runs empty, and
- Sometimes your inner child cries for attention and nourishment, and you ignore it.
We might even consider leaving the profession. Even though these are natural feelings, and part of being a counsellor, if left unacknowledged, they can interfere with your professional competence and your ability to experience joy.
What to expect?
Alda and Ghada are inviting you to explore:
- how to cultivate or work with your energy to create resilience,
- strengthen your boundaries with your clients,
- and remain centred in the work that you do.
Your Facilitators:
Maria Alda Gomez-Otero offers a creative, embodied approach to therapy, integrating movement, writing, and storytelling. As an energy psychotherapist, she incorporates acupoint tapping and chakra clearing as central elements of her work. She also provides creative supervision, both individually and in groups, in Exeter. www.iepsychotherapy.com
Ghada Sharif-Clack is an inner alchemist, guiding others through a profound journey of transformation—releasing deep-rooted trauma, restoring balance, and awakening the mind, body, and soul. As the creator of The Alchemy House, she brings together all parts of herself—human being, Integrative Psychological Therapist, Functional Health and Integrative Nutrition Coach, Breathwork and Mindfulness Facilitator, and Creative Expression Healer—to offer a truly holistic, therapeutic approach. Her work is about unlocking the wisdom within, turning pain into power, and creating space for resilience, growth, and deep, evolutionary change. To connect with Ghada www.thealchemy-house.com
