Whether you wish to improve or just maintain your well-being this workshop will provide you with skills to support mental and physical well-being take part in this radical act of self love. In this workshop I will share with you, simple techniques from a range of skills and knowledge I have gained over the past 17yrs working in well-being. Drawing on my own experience to help you create a more sensitive, soothing, and compassionate touch. As well as simple postures and meditative breathing from yoga, explorations of the body from body-psychotherapy and Qi gong, whilst using the mind to scan through the body, deepening relaxation and making affirmations for positive health.
We will work gently through a sequency starting with light awareness of the breath and feeling into the whole body, then use some movement to open out the body and then go deeper into those areas that hold the most tension with massage techniques. We will use props: bolsters, blankets, blocks, and massage ball, to assist our relaxation. It sounds like a lot, but it really is simple when you know how. At the same time for those of you that get bored meditating there is plenty to hold your interest. Altogether, this will be a fun and even powerful experience, which is deeply restorative and best of all, you will learn something you can do for yourself.
Wear something loose and comfy layers including a vest. So, you can use samples of lovely oils I will share with you and in around the neck and shoulders!
