Accessible sound and voicework. Usually Third Monday of the month:
Therapeutic sound work with the drum incorporating simple rhythms for entrainment, mini drum baths, intuitive drum healings, rhythm games and fun jams. Suitable for beginners and more experienced players.
The drum has been used for healing and altering consciousness since ancient times. The BAST method of drum therapy brings modern understanding to inherited wisdom. We start by playing simple rhythms together to achieve a deep relaxed (yet often energised) state.
In each session you will also have the opportunity to either give and receive a short drum sound bath (People tend to love this!) and work intuitively with the drum for healing which develops your skills and confidence with sound healing. One of the most joyful parts of the session is the jam. If you have a heartbeat, you have rhythm. This is a great place to gain confidence. Sometimes we direct the sound for Earth healing, or other intentions, sometimes just for joy. You will need a drum though I do have a couple available to borrow, please ask me beforehand.
*This session is offered as part of a 4 week block (£40 for 4 consecutive sessions, join any week of the month) of different sound and voice sessions. £12 drop-in if there is space.

We also have a Soundbath at this venue every second Friday of the month 6:30pm (13th June FULL, spaces for 11 July and 8th August)
We have a longer regular Earth Chants session at Quiet View near Canterbury around each seasonal shift. Next one for Equinox (22nd Sept ) Small nurturing group.🎶 which is followed by a Soundbath at 6:30pm with food and connection time in between - join for either or both sessions.
We also have a monthy Sacred Sisterhood on a Sunday at Quiet View (with a commitment to the whole Spiral which is 3 Sundays over 3 months. The next one - our Autumn Spiral begins 14th September and continues 12th October and 9th November)
