About this Event
About this event
Anger is a powerful emotion—one that many of us were taught to suppress or fear. But anger, like all emotions, carries wisdom.
Suppressed anger can resurface as anxiety, chronic stress, physical pain, or disconnection from joy. By learning to feel and release anger safely, we open the door to emotional regulation, healthier boundaries, and deeper self-understanding.
This 90-minute workshop offers a supportive and trauma-informed space for women and non-binary people to explore their relationship with anger. Together, we’ll use a mix of guided hypno-therapeutic visualisation, group exploration, and active release practices to meet anger, listen to its message, and allow it to flow through the body in healthy ways.
What to expect
- A short talk on emotions, suppression, and the role of anger
- Guided hypno-therapeutic visualisation to connect with your anger
- Vocal and physical anger release practices (using safe techniques and equipment such as punching bags)
- Closing visualisation to ground and integrate
This is not about aggression—it’s about creating safety, expression, and acceptance.
