We are on the edge of a cliff. It is meant to be the Grand Canyon but really it is the Moab Valley in Utah, for budget reasons. There are 2 women. Running away from something, looking for something else. 2 women. Holding hands on the edge of this cliff, while the world crumbles.Cinema, celestial bodies and the Great American road movie split and fracture into worlds where geological love stories smash into the passion of twin comets. Decaying landscapes, both nostalgic and deeply strange, distort with the sounds of Elvis Presley’s back catalog, wailing through the fabric of spacetime. Markers of the old transcend into the neverending new.
Thelma and Louise Don’t Die is a feminist theatrical reimagining of the classic road movie. Splitting the film’s threads into a dreamscape of half recognised Americana, Thelma and Louise ascend into the abyss in a 1970s Triumph.

Thelma and Louise still drive through endless deserts to this day.
