Colleton Civic Center’s “Theatre Sprouts" program, is a chance for preschoolers, ages 2-4, to engage in a brief but high-energy and child-friendly interpretation of skits, stories, and plays. Performed on the historic Hampton St. Auditorium stage at the Colleton Civic Center, this great introduction to the Civic Center and theatre in general as an audience member and performer, brings imagination to life. The program concludes with a sweet treat for your 'sprouts' in our Civic Center gallery. The experience includes audience participation or simple interaction and will last no longer than 30 minutes – perfect for young, wiggly 'sprouts'. All performances are free to the public and light snacks are provided by local sponsors. You must have a reservation to attend. Attendance is limited to 40 kids per session, one chaperone per child unless other arrangements have been made. Our holiday edition features “Where’s The Snow” and “The Lost Present”. Snacks sponsored by Bank of the Lowcountry.
