Theatre Bristol presents “Land of Jesters” and “Rumpelstiltskin” in five shows on April 19, 26, and 27, reprising the first Theatre Bristol production when it was known as Bristol Children’s Theatre. These productions will also mark Theatre Bristol’s debut on the Cameo Theatre stage at 703 State Street. Tickets are available online at TheatreBristol.org/tickets. Elementary schools and preschools can contact Theatre Bristol about reservations for the April 25 school shows.“Land of Jesters” and “Rumpelstiltskin” by Pamela Prince Walker, are whimsical stories of colorful characters, topsy-turvy worlds, silly comedy, and fairytale lessons from another time.
Originally directed by Theatre Bristol founder Cathy DeCaterina, Board President and veteran stage manager Ann Vance will direct “Land of Jesters” and “Rumpelstiltskin.”
“We feel it is so fitting to have Ann Vance, beloved by children, to bring these special productions to the stage, as well as in her role as Board President, to be able to debut Theatre Bristol’s work at the Cameo Theatre,” said Samantha Gray, Executive Director and Producer.
Specially priced tickets are $12, and $10 for seniors and students, and will be available online and, pending available seating, at the door 30 minutes prior to showtime.
