Theater Open Stage

THEATRE COMMUNITY OPEN STAGE will be the first Tuesday of each month, June 6 this month. For now there will be no cover, just a donation basket. We’re a BYOB venue so we’re hoping we’ll make enough from donations to avoid a cover charge. Doors at 7:15, show begins at 7:30. Shows run til 9:30, sometimes a bit longer. Slots are five or ten minutes, depending on the type of performance--monologues, scene studies, poetry, comedy, ten-minute plays. We also offer "menus" of improv sketches with pre-determined characters and situations. Everyone is invited to participate, including audience members. Sign up in advance by emailing [email protected]. State your preferred time we will get the person as close to that as possible depending what’s available and send an email confirmation. People can also say whether they prefer to go earlier or later than their requested time.
