About this Event
The 1960 Presidential election was very close. Some believed Richard Nixon was cheated out of the Presidency due to fraud. But one event that might have thrown the election to the then-Vice President was an act of courage Nixon shirked--using his influence to help the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. escape a jailing that could have been fatal.
But what if Nixon, secretly, tried to intervene?
In this hilarious and poignant musical, a disguised Nixon travels to the Georgia Pr*son in which King is being held. Can history truly be changed in one night? Or will things play out as they originally did--regardless of Nixon's efforts?
