The ancient black and white yin-yang symbol represents competing and complementary forces in our lives: light/dark, female/male, soft/hard, and so on. In this session, we’ll create our own personal yin-yang, using symbols and colors for seemingly opposite ideas.
Starting with the basic pattern, we’ll use mandala principles to get more and more complex with our designs. You will choose one of your designs to have heat-pressed onto a 3” ceramic disc to hang as a reminder to look for the gift in opposites. Maybe to choose balance.
Step-by-step instructions will guide you. All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced. All supplies will be provided.
