ABOUT THE BENEFICIARY:
Light Work 316, Inc. was born from a promise founder Abbie Maberry made to a brave little boy, Isaac Juarez: “to help love his desired 10,000 children.” From that promise grew a mission: to bring light, joy, and hope into the darkest days for families facing terminal or life-threatening diagnoses.
When a family receives devastating news, the world stops…but the bills don’t. Rent, groceries, gas, and utilities still demand attention. Light Work 316 steps in to cover these essentials, giving families the gift of time together without the crushing weight of financial stress.
But the mission goes further. Christmas gifts, birthday parties, and surprise moments of joy remind children and parents that love shines even in the hardest seasons. And when families experience unimaginable loss, Abbie, now a certified grief coach, offers free grief support nationwide so no parent ever has to walk that road alone.
What makes Light Work 316 unique? Every hour is volunteered, and every dollar goes directly to families. No one is paid. It is love in action…pure and simple.
