The WSIE Music Series presents Deacon Dan: Tribute to Steely Dan on Saturday, September 28th, 7pm at Old Herald Brewery & Distillery's outdoor amphitheater.There is a suggested donation of $10 per entrant at the gate. 100% of donations will go directly to WSIE 88.7 The Sound.
Deacon Dan is fueled by members of Groovethang, "The Ultimate Party Band" and will explore the extensive catalog of hits penned by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen.
Groovethang has been entertaining fans at public and private events since 1997. They have shared the stage and opened for artists such as Sheryl Crow, Michael Buble', John Waite, WAR and The Guess Who.
The Ultimate Party Band, Groovethang is known for faithfully reproducing the music of such greats as Earth Wind & Fire, K.C & The Sunshine Band and Prince Steely Dan, to current hits from Katy Perry, Pit Bull, Daft Punk and Maroon 5. Their extensive song list covers the hits from every decade, beginning from the 70's to today.
