Author Dave McCall will introduce us to the most notable event of Victorian Wrexham, the Wrexham Arts and Industries Exhibition of 1876. The exhibition showcased industries such as bricks and brewing, mining, leather and steel. Over 1000 paintings, including works by Turner, Reynolds and Canaletto, were on display, as well as many antiquities. A range of events is planned for 2026, to mark the 150th anniversary of the Arts and Industries Exhibition, and other significant Wrexham events of 1876.Thursday 15 January 2026. 7pm, St. Giles' Church.
