The Worth of a Ruby, a book event with Lya Badgley

Lya will be recently returned from Myanmar filled with fresh perspective of Myanmar's Civil War and bringing gifts for those who purchase their ticket before October 10th.

And what an evening it will be ! Food, wine, tea, and book talk with a slide show of visuals from Myanmar and gifts! There will be a reading, but if you have already experienced that with Lya, there is still reason to attend!! (those underage will be provided a drink that is non- alcoholic).

To include everyone, (even those who have already purchased her book), in this amazing update event there are two tickets available.

One, if you have already purchased her book, a ticket will get you a full sized salad, a glass of wine and a cup of tea with an additional small treat, all tastes of Myanmar. Plus if you purchase your ticket before the 10th, she will bring back a gift for you from the couintry.

Lya will also hold a raffle for all attendees for a basket filled with a gathering of hand curated gifts made in Myanmar by local artists.

The second ticket will include the book, autographed in person by the author, and a sample size of the food and drink. If more is desired there will be limited supplies to order more.

Tickets will be available after the 10th but the gift from Myanmar will not be included. Tickets at the door are not guaranteed the full food experience. Buy your ticket early and plan on a trip to Myanmar through the wonderful words and pictures of Lya Badgley of Snohomish.
