About this Event
This fall's program of Norway House's Minnesota Peace Initiative (MPI) is an in-depth, informative recap on a monumental year for democracy around the world.
2024 set a record for how many billions participated in elections, with countries representing nearly half of humanity holding some form of elections this year. Our expert speakers will provide a recap and analysis of trends seen.
Richard Haass of the Council on Foreign Relations will offer direct remarks on the topic, followed by an in-depth discussion from our panel of experts:
Aram Gavoor, George Washington University Law School

This is a unique opportunity to reflect not only on elections in the United States, but around the world, following a pivotal year.
Panel discussion will be followed by:
Moderated Q & A with Janet Dolan, founder of the Minnesota Peace Initiative
