About this Event

On Wednesday December 11th 2024, the World Values Network will host our 13th Annual Gala, to be held at the world renowned Carnegie Hall, New York, NY at 5.30PM. The evening will include a wine and cheese reception, a Torah dedication ceremony in addition to keynote speeches by this year's honorees, to include amongst others, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
This year's annual gala will focus on 'America Reborn', with an emphasis on the thematic areas of unity, social-cohesion and civil and human rights. Furthermore, the evening's program will include a Torah ceremony, dedicated in the memory of James Chaney, Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner, who were tragically murdered during the 'Freedom Summer of 1964' while assisting African-American voters in Mississippi with their voting registration process. The Freedom Summer of 1964 represents a best practice in inter-communal solidarity, one which couldn't be more important given the strong divisions between many of our communities today. The Torah will further be dedicated to the 1200 martyrs of October 7th 2023, savagely murdered by Hamas terrorists.
Now more than ever, it is essential to recall the strong and historical bond between the communities that make up this wonderful country, and to highlight the Torah/Bible, whose lessons and teachings have instilled faith and fortitude within numerous communities throughout our country for generations, despite the hardships and challenges many marginalized communities have faced. Through our evening's program- we aim to reaffirm our commitment to each other as human beings, recalling the sacrifices we have made in defense of our communities, such as the Freedom Summer of 1964, and to reiterate the partnership and brotherhood that still remains between all of our communities during these divisive and difficult times.

We look forward to welcoming you on December 11th, and offer our thanks to you, our partners, for your good support and friendship as we continue to break down barriers, challenge racism and antisemitism, and champion the remarkable individuals at our annual galas, who dedicate their lives to promoting inclusion, unity and equity.

Kindly note, as this is our annual fundraiser, which we use to support our important work throughout the year, donations are required.
