On Saturday, 23rd November 2024, children aged 6 to 10 are invited to the National Museum of Natural History in Mdina for a fun-filled journey into the magical world of geodes.Geodes start out as empty bubbles in the earth. Over time, minerals sneak in and grow into beautiful crystals. From 2:00pm to 3:30pm, young explorers will uncover the secrets of these special rocks through an engaging, hands-on experiment.
Afterwards, the fun continues in the kitchen, where participants will roll up their sleeves and create their own delicious edible geode balls to take home. Be sure to bring a container to safely transport these sweet creations!
The event will be conducted in both Maltese and English, depending on the needs of attendees, ensuring an inclusive and interactive experience for all. Please note that the cooking session includes ingredients that may contain lactose, gluten, eggs, and nuts.
