Oberlin College and Conservatory's Music Theater program presents: The World Goes 'Round.
Get ready for a dazzling evening of song, storytelling, and heart with The World Goes ’Round—a stunning revue celebrating the legendary songbook of John Kander and Fred Ebb, the multi–Tony Award-winning duo behind Cabaret and Chicago.
The original production of The World Goes ’Round earned three Drama Desk Awards and continues to captivate audiences worldwide. Filled with humor, romance, drama and nonstop melody, this vibrant musical revue is a thrilling celebration of life and the fighting spirit that keeps us all moving forward.
From Cabaret to Chicago, the hit parade features beloved classics like “Mr. Cellophane,” “Maybe This Time,” “Cabaret,” and “New York, New York.” Seamlessly woven together, these songs create a passionate, harmonious, and high-energy evening of musical theater you won’t want to miss!

One of Hidden Valley's hallmarks has been its many fruitful collaborations with other influential artistic and educational organizations over the past sixty years. We are so pleased to be starting this year with another collaboration with the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Founded in 1865 at Oberlin College in Ohio, the Oberlin Conservatory of Music is the oldest continuously operating conservatory in America and a 2009 recipient of the National Medal of Arts.
Oberlin Conservatory Launches Program in Musical Theater. Premiering in fall 2025, new major draws on Oberlin's legacy of musical excellence and commitment to preparing students for outstanding 21st-century careers.
