About this Event

Join us for the December edition of The Work Beneath | Artist Talk Series
Hosted by Liz Ortiz and Stacey Sickler of Mad Hare Press and Peaced Together Art
www.madharepress.com | www.peacedtogetherart.com

This month’s theme, Art for Self Reflection | How Artistic Expression Enhances Self Awareness, brings together two artists whose practices explore personal meaning, emotional truth, and inner growth. Through creative process, storytelling, and shared reflection, we will consider how art invites us to look inward with honesty and care.

Together, we will explore how artistic expression deepens self understanding, nurtures emotional intelligence, and supports healing and personal transformation. Through lived experience and open dialogue, we will reflect on how creativity becomes a space for self discovery and clarity.

About the Series

The Work Beneath is a monthly artist talk series highlighting the stories, creative processes, and human experiences that too often remain unseen. We believe art is not only about the finished work, but about the ongoing and vulnerable process of becoming.

Each month, artists share their journey through an intimate evening of storytelling, discussion, and community reflection.
