Celebrate the stories that connect us at The Word On The Street's inaugural Community Pop-Up event on September 25th, featuring Maude Barlow
About this Event

The Word On The Street Toronto is bringing the festival to your own backyard. In this inaugural community pop-up event, we're bringing a mini-WOTS to an internationally-renowned hub of sustainability: Evergreen Brick Works! An abandoned brickmaking factory nestled in Toronto's lush ravines, Evergreen Brick Works was transformed into a community hub for all to enjoy.

Enjoy author-led forest walks, a marketplace for books, activities for the whole family, and featured reading & discussion with notable environmentalist Maude Barlow for her latest book, Still Hopeful: Lessons from a Lifetime of Activism.

Free admission! Donations to support The Word On The Street's mission to champion literacy are welcome.

Additional details will be shared closer to the event. Stay tuned!
