The first-ever Renaissance Faire in The Woodlands, TX and it's totally FREE. Heck, you can even bring your own chairs, blankets, picnic lunches and beverages (NO GLASS) along for the afternoon and evening festivities. Hosted by The Woodlands Symphony and backed by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Arts in the Park and The Howard Hughes Corporation (that's a mouthful) we will showcase our orchestra members on the main stage of Rob Fleming Park while activities abound around the great lawn. Get into the spirit and dress up in your favorite renaissance "garb" or just let your imagination run wild and be-someone-else for a day. We are having a costume contest with prizes at 6:00 PM!!!
There will be food and drink trucks, vendors - not free but in case you want to try some new delights. Jam in the drum circle or see if Claude the Juggler with throw a couple of bowling pins at you - that's means you get to learn to juggle.
Music fans, cozy up to the big stage and listen to the strings of the Woodlands Area Youth Symphony, the Woodlands Woodwinds and our flagship group, The Woodlands Symphony Brass as they play past the sunset for the grand finale.
Donations will be accepted the day of the event or on The Woodlands Symphony website to ensure that your hometown orchestra continues to bring you more FREE events like this every year. In fact, we have been giving away 1000 tickets a year for our Christmas Concert and 2023 is no exception! "See you anon."
