Our community is abuzz!Join Angela Bartholomew, President of the local Beekeeper’s Association, as she enlightens us on the amazing and fascinating world of bees. Joining her will be a live hive of bees (contained in plexiglass) so everyone will have the opportunity to view their amazing workmanship and activity.Gulf Coast Village is thrilled to have a resident beekeeper, Ken Maddox, who will give an update on Gulf Coast Village’s very own beehives. There will be a chance to sample a variety of local honey and to purchase some, too.
