A note from their team:
Lena Goodman (Tonys grandmother) was the driving force in the 40s, 50s and 60s really sitting the stage for what GSJ is now. She was a powerhouse. If you look at the old ads, it featured Stanley Goodman telling the boys to listen to their mother. And that was true because she was the driver. Two of our in-house jewelers are women. Strong, creative women who were recognized as "diamonds in the rough" by Tony. He subsequently sponsored them in completing their jeweler education. Our Director of Merchandise and Marketing is Brittnay Fauber who holds an MBA from Old Dominion and is very well respected in our industry. She is a strong, brilliant, talented woman who is a force. Rebecca is our AGS accredited appraiser. The most accredited appraiser in the Hampton Roads area as well as the state of Virginia. Our senior diamond associate, Heather Linkous is a 12-year veteran with GSJ. Our secretary/treasurer of GSJ is Glynda Goodman. Also, a strong, smart talented woman who keeps the "house" in order.
At GSJ, we believe that our success is built on the contributions of these extraordinary women. They are not just part of our team; they are the foundation upon which our legacy stands. Their stories remind us that true leadership and excellence come from recognizing and celebrating the talents of every individual.
