The Wizard 2.0 Stage Production

Lakeland native Demetrius Haynes brings "The Wiz 2.0" to Lakeland. This is a modern retelling of The Wizard of Oz. The story follows Dorothy, a high school senior who just moved from Atlanta to Eatonville, Florida, after the death of her mother. Feeling out of place, she longs for a way out of the country life she’s been thrust into. Filled with show-stopping music and stunning set design, “The Wiz 2.0” is a Florida Broadway Experience.
