As we approach the next turning of the Wheel of the Year we shall extend our circle this month to allow time for honouring our ancestors and embracing the energy of Samhain. You are invited to bring a photo of any loved ones that you wish to honour or any items to place on the alter (which shall be returned to you at the end of the evening).The Wisdom of Women (WOW) Sisterhood Circles offer a supportive space for women to come as they are and leave a little more of who they are.
When we gather to share our stories, we weave together our lives, finding peace in our similarities and wisdom in our differences. We find solidarity in knowing we are not alone and form bonds with each other through our shared human experiences. Circles are a space for us to connect to ourselves, each other and the world around us, instilling a heart-felt sense of belonging and community.
Each circle will follow a familiar arch of a welcome ritual, check in, oracle/ affirmation card pull, sharing rounds and a final check. We may also weave in some creative activities, journaling, meditation, mindful exercises and gentle movement as well as exploring themes such as Intuition, Gratitude, Empowerment and Sisterhood. The essence of each circle will be unique, ebbing and flowing with the energy of those who attend and as a facilitator I always endeavour to be responsive to the needs of the circle.
Attendees are requested to honour confidentiality and empathy and I encourage an ethos of non-judgement so that women can feel brave enough to speak whatever is present for them in that moment without fear of judgement. We practice stepping forward when it is time for us to take up space and stepping back when it is time to reciprocate the space holding for others!
This Circle runs on the 4th Tuesday of the month evening in Waterlooville.
